April 2013 update

Hi Everyone

Sorry this is the 1st news update for a while but trust me…it doesn't mean lots isn't happening in the background!! We now have a wordpress site which is integrated into the adverts homee page here….this should pull more traffiic to the site plus whoever takes advantage of the main advert slot….£50 for the week, will be advertised effectively in 2 places plus when I do thepost on Sunday…it will post an advert of who is featured to our facebook and twitter accounts!! so effectively being advertised in 4 places!!

There's lots more but I won't bore you with the whole technicalities….suffice to say I'm working hard on trying to get us more people to the site! The advert didn't work and was a total waste of money :-( but we have to try these things eh?!

I have had a massive sort out of all the avatars around the edge and marked down anyone to basic offering services who hasn't been of the site for over 6/8 months….making the site more current! If you have a profile and I have marked you down but you still want it active just give me a shout and I'll upgrade you back. I will require all members offering services to log into their accounts at least once every 6 months from now on if they do want their avatars around the edge and keep their membership status.

I am doing a trial of using the points system….if it works well I will keep it going. There will be opportunities to earn points for anyone helping to advertise the site in one way or another…..information will be coming soon in the dashboard area.

If the site jams up….I'm really sorry but unfortunately sometimes we have someone or something come on the site and whatver they are doing jams it up! Sometimes it might be a spammer from various different countries and other times it might be someone just displaying loads of things in the one go! So it can't be a real person as they wouldn't be able or want to look that quickly eh?! So I keep banning their I. P. addresses and that sorts it until the next one comes along-LOL So all I can do is apologise and keep getting rid of the vermin!

Our new Advert in the Free Ad Trader!

Hi Everyone

Here's a copy of our new advert that will be in the Free Ad Trader as from this Thursday 9th November and funds permitting I will run it until at least Mid March! I have called it a different name because obviously Dorset Sex wouldn't fit everywhere else….so we have a new sexier, racier name. This entry page has only had a few hits so you can have a little look to see how many hits we get as the traffic to that page will only be from that advert!

NOVEMBER UPDATE

Hi Everyone

Well its getting close to xmas and I haven't updated the site yet…but its too close to xmas so I wouldn't want to disrupt anyone's fun so its going to wait til the end of March when it gets a bit quieter!

I will be launching another site to run side by side this one soon…..hedging our bets just in case the worst happens and one goes down….we have the other! They will both have the same functionality but the other uses a different program and looks sexier!! As soon as its ready…I will let you all know! Keep watching this space!

We will be advertised in the Free Ad Trader as from this Thursday 8th November in all the areas that are available on here….so things will get a lot more interesting!!

October Update - sorry about the lack of site over the weekend!

Hi Everyone

A quick update. We were off air this weekend unfortunately because….the techno bit…..the dedicated server was being re-named and the people with the knowledge omitted to say it would be better to do it at the beginning of the week and not near the weekend, as it would break the link to all the websites on there!! (they are there 24/7 so they forget that other companies have the weekend off!) So we had to wait until Monday before it could all be resolved!! Its a one off thing which won't happen ever again and all I can do is apologise….we're back now thankgod.

Lots more things in the pipeline for the site….

• The main menu will change shortly so that it shows the services as the main menu choices and then you choose the area from the list below instead of how it is at the moment….the areas showing and then choosing what service you require. I think it will make it a lot more streamlined and will accommodate lots more areas easily. The 'ME' menu part and the rest will stay the same as before.
• We are working on another site to run along side this site…so if one needs updating we always have the other …making sure you don't loose any advertising time.
• Once the other site is launched this one will be updated so some of the features will be a lot better…can't wait!!
